I have decided to move more into the techie age and create a blog. This can be blamed on my Design and Media Production class that I am taking this semester. My professor uses a blog that we post assignments to and other comments. I realized how easy it really was to have a blog so here I am.
Many of you know that John and I have been trying for quite a while to get pregnant. Well God was with us shortly after John came home from his last deployment. We found out I was pregnant just after Thanksgiving. We told our parents and my brothers but we decided to suprise the rest of our family when we were home at Christmas. We made my Grammy and John's Grammy and Papi onsies that said "I love my great grammy", "I love my greatgrandma", and "I love my greatgrandpa". They loved them and they were very suprised. It was so fun sharing the news. I am so excited at the prospect of being a mommy.
We are not going to find out if we are having a boy or a girl. I decided I really wanted it to be a suprise. John would like to know but if he found out he would acedentally spoil it for me byt refering to the baby as he or she, so he can't find out either. Our comprimise is that we will find out with our next one.
As many of you know, I started grad school this past fall to become a school library media specialist. The courses I have taken so far have been very interesting and I have learned a lot. My favorite by far is my Design and Production Media class. I am learning to do so much of the techie stuff that I always wanted to know how to do. Last week I created my first podcast. That took alot since I hate hearing my voice in a recording!
Between working, grad school, and being pregnant, I am pretty tired all the time. John has been wonderful! He has pretty much kept the house up and he always makes sure I have my decaf tea. It seems to help the nauseas feeling I have most of the time. I am 17 weeks right now and the doc said I might be one of those women who will be sick the whole time. I am not happy about that so I am choosing to be positive and to pray. So please say a prayer for a healthy, happy pregnancy and baby, and that I stop throwing up!
At the end of the school year I will be resigning so that I can be a stay at home mommy. I am really looking forward to this. I know having my mom at home really had a positive impact on me so I am hoping it will have the same impact on our little one.
I could probably keep talking but I will stop here. I will post updates as often as I can.
