Many Changes

As many of you know, John and I are separated. Cecelia and I have moved back to Galveston to be near my parents who are such a wonderful support system and great help with Cecelia. They love having up here. It is also great to have my brothers, and sister and law for support as well. It is not the ideal situation for me, however, I did not have notice to be able to plan for this change so while I get back on my feet we will stay with mom and dad.

I am expecting a new baby in April. I am so excited about the new addition! I went to the Dr. today and everything looks good. I am not anemic like I was with Cecelia so that is good. I also got to hear the baby's heartbeat. It is always comforting to me to hear the heartbeat. It lets me know that everything is ok.

Cecelia is a joy to me everyday. She is learning new things and growing like a weed. She now says "wa" for water, "nack" for snack, she tells me no and yeah for yes. Among other words. She also points to things and says "that" when she wants to know what something is. The best thing is that she tells me "night" when I put her to bed. It warms my heart every time she says it.

We had a great Halloween. We went to my brother Andrew's in the afternoon to go to a pumpkin patch. It was so much fun! She loved it. I have included pictures below. We also went to a few friends' houses in Galveston so Cecelia could trick or treat. At first she did not want to let go of the candy but she quickly figured out if she put it in the pumpkin she would get more. When we got in the car to come home, she would not let go of the pumpkin. Once we got home, she pulled a hand full of stuff out of her pumpkin and said "nack". She wanted to eat the candy. I wasn't a mean mommy, I let her have the little package of animal crackers she got from Mrs. Schwartzbach. We have hidden the rest and she gets one thing a day. She had so much fun that she was worn out. She slept a full 12 hours! I was quite happy about that. :o)

He favorite game was to pass the little pumpkin to Andrew and then bring it to me. She went back and forth for a while. She ended up getting to take home 2 little pumpkins of her own.
