Welcome to the world Rebekah Arabella!!!

Rebekah made her debut March 30, 2010 at 2:34pm. She weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. and was 19 inches long. I had a relatively easy delivery. I only hurt really bad for about 45 minutes and it only took 3 pushes and she was here. I was blessed to have my mom and sister-in-law, Joslin, with me in the delivery room. They were a great support. We got to bring her home but had to go back to the hospital a few days later because she was jaundiced. A night under the photo therapy was all it took and she was OK. She is really growing fast! I can tell in her arms, legs, and face. They are filling out. She is a great baby! She sleeps pretty good. We have only had a couple sleepless nights. Other than that she wakes up about every 3 hours to eat at night. She is having more awake time during the day. She is very alert and loves to look around.

Cecelia is doing great with her. We are working on being gentle with the baby. She LOVES her baby sister. She kisses her and reads to her. She likes to show Rebekah her toys. She also likes to hold her. I just have to watch her very careful because when she is done holding her she pushes her away. We have had a few moments where jealousy has reared it's ugly head but not too many. Overall, she has done really well adjusting to having a sister.

Being a single mom of a 21 month old and a newborn can be insane but I love being a mom so much! The girls bring so much joy to my life. I look forward to our lives together as they learn and grow. I am amazed by both of them everyday. I am thankful to my parents. I could not do this alone and their help is so wonderful.

I will graduate this December with my masters. Never did I think so many things would have changed in just the time it has taken me to get my masters! Two babies, an unexpected move, and many other things. In all of this, I have kept my 4,0 and will graduate with honors. This is something I am very proud of. I look at getting my masters as an investment into mine and the girl's future. It will help me get a job that I will truly enjoy so I will be a happy mommy. I will also have the same schedule as the girls once they are in school so I will have lots of time to spend with them.

Shortly after Rebekah was born. I was so excited to see her!

On her way to get weighed and cleaned up. Auntie Jojo was our delivery room photographer! :o)

Cecelia meeting her new baby sister! She loved holding her and kept saying "Baby!" to anyone who would listen. :o)
