My Babies and Me: Happy February!

Cecelia had her 18 month well baby check this past week. She is doing great. The doctor said that her virus was gone and that her mouth looked great. She weighs 25 pounds and is 31 inches long. I had to fill out a form on what she can do. She is above average in what she ia doing. :o) I am a very proud mommy! She is learning so fast and absorbs everything. She mimics words now. Today we were in the car wating for mom while she was at a doctors appointment. Cecelia said MawMaw and I told her she was in the doctors. Cecelia said doctor very clearly about 5 times. She was very proud of herself that she could say it. She says lots of other 2 syllable words now. It s so fun hearing her talk. She can communincate so well. She definately can tell me what she wants now.

This past weekend we went to Cecelia's first Mardi Gras party. It ws the den party for the krewe my dad is in. We got to see all of the floats that are going to be in the parade. Cecelia loved seeing them!! She said wow at almost all of the floats and pointed in awe. There were lots of other kids there and she loved watching them. She stayed close to us though. She LOVES the beads! They had them on the tables so she ended up with a neck full because she loved putting them on. PawPaw got us matching Mardi Gras glasses. Cecelia thought they were the best abd wore them a really long time! She was such a ham! She is definately a future Momus Duchess! She smiled at everyone and loved to visit! They had pirate hats on the table. Cecelia loved hers. In this picture I told her to say ARRGGGHH like a pirate. This is just after she said ARGH! :o) I think she is trying to look like a mean pirate but it didn't work. She is just too cute!
